I couldnt think of a better way to start my first blog than with an image of my children relaxing by the sea, this is a favourite of mine taken on a holiday at Noosa. They were sitting quietly (which is rare) watching the sun set. Beautiful !
Tommorow I will start sharing the photos taken last week of the start of our renovation. We are starting in the kitchen /family room first.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all thank you so very much for your wonderful comment yesterday about our house and garden - you made my day. I'm so glad you enjoyed seeing where we live. I'm originally from Northern NSW (which I don't miss at all) and have been in the Highlands for about 10 years. It's my heaven on earth - when we bought the farm there was no house or garden and it has been absolutely wonderful to have been able to create exactly what we wanted in such a perfect location. Both the house and the garden are my passion and I seem to spend every waking moment thinking about what I will do next! Leigh
